Opinion polls have found increasing levels of support for same-sex marriage, with more than 67% of Czechs supporting the legalization of same-sex marriage as of 2020.
A 2013 opinion survey showed that 80% of Czechs believed homosexuality should be accepted by society, while 16% believed it should not.
While no government officials were indicted or convicted for complicity in trafficking, allegations continued about the involvement of individual border police officers facilitating illegal border crossings.
